​Carme Gubert comes from Pont Major and she got married with Josep Ensesa Pujadas in 1889 being 23 years old. Mother of one daughter, that died soon after being born, and of Josep Ensesa Gubert, a known businessman from Girona that had an important paper during the postwar period and became a leader in tourism, thanks to the boost that he gave to the printing business that he had in S’Agaró. The reason why this street has her name is because someone who Josep Ensesa Gubert gave some fields, decided to thank him by perseverating his mother's memory in the Girona’s catalogue of names, because he didn’t had many time to know her, as she died when she was 30 years old.
